2021 August 20, Bookworm #34 – Michilimackinac: Where archaeology and history meet (Lynn Evans)
From Tracy Payovich
Fort Michilimackinac, built by the French in 1715, acquired by the British in 1761 and demolished by them in 1781, has been the site of historical and archaeological research since 1959. In this episode of the Bookworm, Lynn Evans, archaeologist at Mackinac State Historic Parks, will discuss how archaeology and history are used to gain a more complete picture of life on the fur trade frontier. Books and resources discussed in the program are listed at https://conta.cc/3k8zkwg
